Why do I need to use the sleeve with the glass bottle?

The Mitte glass bottle is specifically designed for the use with your device and safely withstands the high pressure of our carbonation technology. But just like a seatbelt in a car, the neoprene sleeve works as an extra safety add-on which should always be used during carbonation as the glass bottle could have tiny tears or hairline cracks. This could lead to the bottle cracking more easily. After carbonation you can easily remove the sleeve to enjoy your Mitte water.
