What is a cartridge flush and how often do I need to perform it?

A cartridge flush gets rid of any buildup in the cartridge as a result of the device not having been used for some time.

We recommend doing a cartridge flush if you detect a bad smell or taste. Simply follow the regular steps for a dispense for still water and discard this bottle of water. 

A cartridge flush is required after the device has not been used for a week. The Water Quality Indicator will show a steady orange at this time. Simply press one of the carbonation level buttons while the water tank is filled and discard this bottle of water.
