The device can be used with or without the Mitte app. However using the Mitte app provides you with an extended feature set, including; 

1. Easily set up your Mitte Home device with a step-by-step visual guide and onboarding.
2. Monitor the levels of your Mitte Home Cartridge and Mitte Home Cylinder in real-time.
3. Monitor your water consumption 
4. Activate and manage your Smart Refills, our automatic ordering system.
